All exhibitors MUST be the bona fide maker or grower of their exhibits. Use of commercially produced products will result in forfeiture of ALL prizes won by exhibitor. If any exhibitor tries to deceive the committee more than once, the committee may ban that exhibitor from future competitions.
All exhibits must be clean and free of pet hair, and not previously entered in our Fair.
Only one entry per class unless otherwise stated.
Classes are subject to change [at the discretion of the Directors and Judges] if there are insufficient entries for the competition.
Families may include all entries on the same entry form included in the centre of this catalog.
GATES ARE OPEN TO BENCH ENTRIES ON SATURDAY FROM 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. No entries accepted after 12:00 pm. Judging commences at 1:00 pm.
The bench show is open to the public on Saturday in the viewing area only until judging is complete at approximately 4:30 pm on Saturday. Show re-opens at 10:00 am on Sunday. Viewing opportunities and demos on Saturday and Sunday.
Ages of children (12 and under), teens (13-19) and seniors (65 and over) must be stated on the entry tag, otherwise the entry will be placed in an adult class. 4
NO RIBBONS or EXHIBITS TO BE REMOVED BEFORE 5:00 pm on Sunday.
No food, no drinks, and no smoking is permitted in the exhibition area.

interpretation of rules
Interpretation of all rules shall be made by the Board of Directors, whose decision shall be final. Should any question arise not provided for in the Rules and Regulations, the decision of the Board of Directors shall be final.
The right to alter, interpret, amend, add to or cancel any of these rules, or to grant relaxation from them in individual cases is reserved to the Board of Directors.
liability defined
All properties of exhibitors entered for competition shall be subject to control of the Directors, but in no case shall BEARSPAW & DISTRICT COMMUNITY FAIR ASSOCIATION be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury of any nature to any such property while same is on exhibit. The Board will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of articles and livestock, but property owners should make their own arrangements for protection against loss, damage or injury.
