guidelines
Refer to the General Rules & Regulation and Judging
  1. One entry per class per individual.
  2. A second labeled empty bottle must accompany the entry as no alcohol can be on display.
  3. All wine entries must be in a 750 ml wine bottle. Dessert & After Dinner wines can be in 375 ml bottles.
  4. Beer entries must be in a recognizable beer bottle of 375 ml capacity with appropriate cap or closure.
  5. Bottles dressed up acceptably, but must be free of personal or identifiable markings, except for the official Bearspaw Fair
  6. entry tag.
  7. If possible, include the grape variety on your entry tag.

Best of Show ROSETTES will be presented by the Fair Committee in each of the following Sections:
  1. Table Wine
  2. Specialty Wine
  3. Beer

A varietal wine is a wine made primarily from a single names grape variety, and which typically displays the name of that variety on the wine label. Examples of grape varieties commonly used in varietal wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot.

4-97-20 Piesporter (off dry)

ROSE OR BLUSH
4-98-10 Rosé or Blush Table Wine
SPECIALTY WINE
4-99-10 Sparkling Style Wine
4-99-20 Country Wine - made from any other fruit or berries, including dandelions and not more than 10% grape or grape concentrate.
4-99-30 Dessert Wine - sweet style wines, ice wines
4-99-40 After Dinner - Sherry, Ports, etc
4-99-50 Mead

4-100-10 Light Brew
4-100-20 Dark Brew
4-100-30 Stouts​
